Our pack for Granimator, Double Dip, stems from Research Studios' passion for typography and continues, on a digital platform, our work from FUSE and other experimental typography projects the studio has a reputation for. Double-dip also has a deeper level as the product of many studio discussions around the mostly predetermined yet still unpredictable nature of our society. The tone of the imagery explores themes of hope, anxiety and uncertainty in a world we are constantly told is on the brink of certain doom. Users can select from the five new fonts produced for this project, Floating Buffalo, Base, Pillar, Tracks and On a Wire to playfully create new and unexpected stories from the bank of popular media phraseology we have selected for you. Create random messages, typographic patters or be prepared to write something you didn't expect.
